Here are a few of the folks who manufacture Sheephaven's spinning fiber for you. Our production workers are industrious, quiet, gentle, and cooperative. They gladly work long hours for modest pay (and lots of hugs from us). They love their work. They are the very best in their field, with superior skills which come naturally to them. Click each staff member's picture to see him or her in a larger photo. Shenandoah is a Senior Angora Production Associate. He's a white buck, born in December of 2005. He's a mixture of German, Satin and French. In this photo, you can see that he's just turned in his 3 months' worth of angora production (that is, he's just been sheared ;-). Valentine is a buck, born in March of 2005. He's 7/8 German and 1/8 satin angora, and is another of our Senior Angora Production Associates. As you can see, he too has just recently started on a new angora production project. Valerie, Valentine's sister, is a white doe. As a Senior Angora Production Associate, she's better at fiber production than she is at childrearing, but perhaps she just needs more practice at the latter. Blondie is a fawn-colored doe, one of our valued Angora Production Associates. Gimpy is a tort buck. Our physically challenged employees are some of our best, and this diligent Angora Production Associate is among them. Indiana is a white doe, a commendably industrious Angora Production Associate. Lucky is a buck. This fawn-colored fellow is another of our busy Angora Production Associates. These five Angora Production Associate trainees are learning on the job. Dolly, our Assistant Fleece Manager, is their mentor. Here, Dolly is about to coach her charges in the finer points of grazing. (FYI, rabbits call it silflay.)
